Rachel & Solomon
The Canine Country Club is owned and managed by Rachel and Scott.
We both have many years of animal care experience and are huge animal lovers.
We share this wonderful place with our adored pets, Solomon, the Chow Chow, our seven rabbits ranging in breeds from Penelope the giant french lop who is the size of a terrier! - to the little scamps Opal and Otter our mini lops. Oh yes and of course our 3 hens and 3 ducks!
At 17 my very first job was working in a kennels, I loved it so much that from that date onwards I have always dreamed of having our own but Scott and I wanted to do it differently.
We wanted to run a dog hotel, a place where we would want to leave our own dearly loved Solomon and not worry.
We truly believe the Canine Country Club is this place. We have so many people who come to us with their first words being “I’ve never left my dog in kennels until I found you”
Please take a moment to look around our website, check out our Facebook page or better still come and visit us and see this wonderful place designed from scratch purely for the happiness and wellbeing of dogs.

We're asked a variety of questions by people who have concerns about their dog staying anywhere but at home with them. We encourage you, when possible, to bring your dog/s along to see for yourself how we do things here at the Canine Country Club. If you decide to book a stay then you are safe in the knowledge your dog/s are already familiar with us and our beautiful place. This will help to put them at ease when they stay with us for the first time.
We are more than happy for you to bring any items from home that you think might make your dog/s stay more comfortable. A simple item of clothing or a sofa cushion that has the smell of home can sometimes make all the difference.
We also appreciate any additional information you can provide about your dog as it can really help us to form a valuable insight as to how best to look after them.

“We are a state-of-the-art luxury dog hotel,
designed purely for the happiness and wellbeing of dogs”
The front of the hotel features patio doors. These keep the dogs warm in winter and means that they do not have to be shut in a small sleep area at night. The doors are open during the warm weather and do not get shut until 10pm in summertime. We are the only kennels in the country with this facility and know that none of our guests are exposed to the elements during our cold winter months.
Your dog can take part in low impact agility, football, tennis, frisbee or whatever else takes their fancy. We cater for the highly energetic through to the older generation who just love to roll in the grass and lay in the sunshine watching the world go by.
