Holly when she had been with us for a month. Her personality has grown with her confidence since we found her. She was 4 years old in this photo, had already had one baby and was pregnant with Charlie.

Newly clipped out and bathed, Holly is looking really well. She quickly decided that being indoors with us during the day, was preferable to being out in the field! She loves all our other house guests and is very gentle with them all.

Who needs a warm stable when you can lie on the rug in front of the fire?

Just to prove that she does live outside as well!

Yes, it's true, Holly really does watch TV.

When it gets cold Holly has an extensive wardrobe to suit all occasions. Sid, the cat, loves to snuggle up with her and she never objects.

Whilst we were building the Country Club, Holly was never short of attention and loved to share the builders sandwiches.

She loved to check out what was going on with the build, we sometimes wondered if she imagined it was some sort of giant donkey house!

April 2007 and still on sign of the baby arriving, belly getting larger daily.

May 12th 2007 The big day!! Tim and James were away over night and when I went out to say good-morning to Holly and give her a biscuit I found the new arrival, Champagne Charlie.

Holly was very proud and Charlie was as friendly and inquisitive as his Mum.

Is there anything cuter than a baby donkey?
